Bacon Cheddar Burgers

I don't know about you, but I love cooking competition shows. I learn so much from them, and I'm also super competitive. Chopped is definitely my favorite, but I recently watched an old season of Worst Cooks in America. The competitors were tasked to make a burger that wasn't your average burger. That got my wheels spinning. I'm kind of a picky eater, but I thought I could cut out some steps by adding bacon and cheddar to the ground beef. That's how Bacon Cheddar Burgers were born.

Bruschetta French Bread Pizza

A few weeks ago, we had Bruschetta Stuffed Chicken for dinner, a recipe I got from Cheerios and Lattes. The thing is, there is only two of us in my household, so we had a lot of bruschetta left over. So, I had an idea. A trip to the grocery store, and a few ingredients later, I came up with Bruschetta French Bread Pizza!

So, I was nominated for a Liebster Award by the lovely Krista from A Handful of Everything. Thanks a bunch, Krista!

I got really excited, then I got really curious. What the heck is a Liebster Award? So, I searched the web, and I found Sopphey's Blog. She did a whole blog post on the origin of a Liebster Award. In truth, it's not really an award. Basically, it's a nice way to let your fellow bloggers know that you love their blog, and you want to help spread the word about it. So, I'm game!

Shamrock Cereal Bars

I have had the hardest time with this blog post. You see, I've had the idea for weeks, but I've been searching all over town for a shamrock cookies cutter. Honestly, I didn't know it would be so hard to find one. After searching every other store in my town, I finally went to Michaels. Then, just when I thought I was out of luck, I found what I was looking for. Yay for Michaels!!

Why I use vinegar in my dishwasher

Today, I'm blogging about vinegar. Yes, vinegar! Why? Because it has truly saved my sanity.

You see, Hubby and I have lived in four different places in our short four years of marriage. And, in all of those places we had a dishwasher. I have always had problems with my dishes getting clean. Not once have I ever been able to unload every single one of my dishes on the first try. I have tried everything, and I finally found what I needed.

Dark Chocolate Popcorn

I've always wanted to try to make my own gourmet popcorn. You know the kind you see all over blogland. The popcorn with the caramel or the graham crackers. Yeah, I wanted to make some of that.

So, off to the grocery store I went, and I took Hubby with me. My original idea was pastel popcorn. I wanted to do something for Easter. Well, Hubby talked me into getting dark chocolate chips, so I ended up making Dark Chocolate Popcorn.
